Felt Rudolph Christmas stocking
This Christmas stocking just knocks my socks off. Adore it with every ounce of my being. Guess what is going into my collection this weekend?!
The whole three dimensional shine is done by judicious use of white bits of felt applied just so in all the right places on this stocking. And while I do not have an official pattern, what I do have is the picture right here. Enlarge it enough and you have your own pattern to run with. Or you can do what I do and eyeball it and go.
I absolutely love the handle that goes over the top of the stocking to attach Rudolph’s reindeer antlers. I think on mine I am just going to attach them directly to the back of the stocking. It will make life easier for me. I will probably stuff the antlers a little to keep them stiff and upright.
Love this stocking. Have I mentioned that lately? In a short week, I can actually put out all my Christmas decorations and not feel like I skipped any holidays by doing it. Oh, very excited at this time of year!
