I'm glad to hear the party was a success.

My sister and I took my oldest and her youngest out trick or treating on Halloween night. As we were driving down this street and that, I would see these groups of older kids with bags hanging from every arm and not one person dressed in costume amongst the whole group. Your "No Costume, No Candy" post kept ringing in my head. I glared at every group as we passed while saying to myself, "You better hope I don't see you on my doorstep asking for candy later!"
I heard later that a lot of older girls were telling people they were dressed up as one of the Bratz dolls. WHA...who could tell??? They dressed just as they did when they went to school that day, what's the difference!??!

The hubby said we didn't get many trick-or-treaters while I was gone. And at the time I got back, I figured all the little ones would be headed home for bed and school the next day, so I shut off the porch light and said a relieved, yet somewhat sad goodnight and goodbye to another Halloween season.
I do loves me some Halloween! I can't wait to do it again next year!
