Tulle covered chairs
As my Mister and I work to get the house ready for our annual Monster Mash (the Halloween crazy dinner), I’m looking for easy ways to decorate the house. This year is my year to cook, but for some reason, the Mister misses some of the more aesthetically pleasing ways to decorate, if you know what I mean.
So, when I saw this idea on BHG, I immediately thought that this would be a cheap and easy way to add a little mystery and spookiness to the table. And I don’t even have to sew or fuss with anything.
This is just black tulle, cut into large pieces - large enough to cover our chairs. Then the backs are defined by tying an orange ribbon around the back of the chair, both to anchor the tulle and to give visual interest in the midst of the blackness.
My costume is also made with a lot of tulle, so this is going to be a lot of fun (particularly when it become a mystery in terms of where the costume ends and the furniture begins).
I just thought this was such an easy way to decorate that it definitely deserved a good shout out approval.
