Do you want to see what happens when you take the time to carve the faux pumpkins? Those things stand up to close tight holes in ways that real pumpkins could never withstand. The flesh of a real living pumpkin would fail if it were carved this closely. However, being that these faux pumpkins are basically styrofoam, they can withstand the intricate detailing.
But enough. On to what a few hours in front of the telly, patience and some good tools (a drill, a good sharp knife and a cookie cutter) can make.
