Hey, look at my pretty music toy.

I have really been working on the blog stuff behind the scenes, checking in with my provider and with the software developer company to see what new toys are available. My goal is to be able to make Kattitudes just a most wonderful place to stop by and find some peace. A little creative quiet time in the midst of all the madness that we have to go through every day.

I found that I could make playlists just like we do on our ipods and transfer those playlists to the player that I put in my sidebar. See it over there to the right - at the bottom of all my other information? That is where it is going to live now.

Every little while (as I get around to it) I will change out the playlist to match something that might be going on in the blog. When we get closer to Christmas, you will be able to play so many Christmas carols that you will be sick. Just sick (I never can get enough Christmas. I swear, if there is a vaccine, my poor husband would have me take it first in line!)

Anyway, I’ve posted the same thing below here. Right now, it’s Halloween ghost stories on the sidebar and rain here in the post. A few days ago, I had the constant rain storm sounds shown below because I am desperately craving a good rain storm (hey, I was born in Seattle. I practically have webbed feet). Before that, I had up a playlist of spooky sounds and ghostly howling for a little ambiance while I made final plans for our Halloween dinner party.

The point of this story is that if you have a safe place to play music, you might consider checking it out. I get nothing out of whether you play it or not (it’s not like an ad or anything - just a widget for fun), so no worries about having to use it. If you like it, cool. If you don’t, it will be stuck down there on the sidebar anyway, so it’s easy to ignore. But at least it is a new toy for us to play with!
