Antiquing tins II.
Remember talking about antiquing tins? Here are more examples:
Don’t misunderstand me. I think these are perfectly lovely. But I also think it is silly to pay the prices that are being asked for them, when with a printer and a couple dollars for an empty canister, you can create your own.
These tin containers are available for sale all over, both at craft stores, at hardware stores, and online. In fact, do a search for tin containers online and you can buy at incredible prices in bulk. Make a zillion for Christmas and fill them with kitchen gifts. You will have inexpensive gifts finished by the end of November and you can sit back and enjoy the madness of the holiday season, all the while admiring your finished gifts lined up and waiting to go.
I found my extensive stash of labels, so later today I’m going to start posting blank full sized labels as a free giveaway. It will be up to you to download them and play with them in your own graphics program. Then simply print and affix to your canisters. Then you too can have adorable tins like these at a fraction of the price!
