Stamped theme bracelet
I have already said (repeatedly even) that I think punch stamps are one of the many creative tools that should be found in every craft supply closet.
These bracelets are exhibit A for that argument. These are a fantastic example of heartfelt gifts that can be made with punch stamps on hand.
Plain metal charms have been attached by jump rings to an unadorned sterling bracelet, and stamped with the words in different languages under the sun. Each bracelet has a different focus: one is for a mother, one for a sister, and one for a dear friend.
What a great way to tell someone what they mean to you. And I particularly like that each individual charm holds the same meaning in a different language.
The construction is not difficult, just charms on jump rings attached to a bracelet with large links. It would take a little work to get the letters all punched in place, but everything worth doing is worth doing well.
I really like these bracelets and have been thinking about duplicating the efforts for some of my Christmas presents this year. You could obviously put anything you wanted on the charms. I love the idea of repeating a theme word in different languages and have been thinking about using different variations on names for my purposes.
Regardless of what word you choose, if you decide to make these bracelets, I am sure they will turn out gorgeous. Feel free to mail in a photo of the finished product. I would love to see how some of these projects are being finished.
