More Halloween cookies.

While I’m not particularly advocating extra sugar shock at this point, I am saying that there comes a time when we have over saturation and our imagination has just had too much and we need some visual help. It is times like these that we just need a good picture to send us on our way.

Therefore, take a good look and wander off to the kitchen and get your Halloween treats ready. Get ready, set, go.

Well, while I’m not a fan of kids overconsuming sugar on Halloween or any time of years, your cookies do look cute.

Perhaps you could suggest that people create some healthy Halloween treats instead that don’t use sugar?

Or perhaps they could create little non-food gifts instead? …Just indulging in wishful thinking. Frankly, I think Halloween is a scary time of sugar overload and sugar shock.

Thanks for your comments, and actually, I do agree we hand out too much sugar on the whole. Coincidently, I just posted an entry on small throw pillows suggesting that that might be adapted to sachets that could be used as treats instead. I think we were on the same wavelength at that moment.

I have a small stockpile of ideas for non-eatable treats that I have been saving to post for the month of October. I find as we get closer to Halloween itself, the searches for what to give out increase, so I save my good stuff (the non-sugary treats) for those days. Please do check back for more suggestions then.

Thanks again for your comments. It’s a fun time to decorate with the silly sugary things that are out there, but even I admit that I won’t eat the stuff, so you are indeed fighting a good fight.
