TV time: History Channel’s History of Halloween
Kattitudes is located in the heart of the South, where people actually live the oddest dichotomy regarding Halloween. Decorations and Halloween festivities down this way are second to none. On the other hand, others really do go out of their way to provide alternatives to what they consider the devil centric holiday.
I love Halloween, and fall on the side of the spectrum that appreciates and understands the roots of the Halloween celebration. I thought that the History Channel had an interesting albeit broad spectrum painting of America’s Halloween history. So, as a result, I have decided to share it here, considering that Halloween is quickly approaching.
