Halloween witch earrings
As we promised, we have more quick and easy jewelry pieces to post. These are cute earrings and so very simple to make. They are literally four pieces: the witch charm, the black bead, the earring finding which is the piece that goes in your ear, and the piece of metal wire (which is usually either literally a piece of wire or part of a headpin, depending on how you work) that has had the black bead strung onto it and two loops twisted into it to hold the charm and the earring finding into place.
Very simple earrings to make and you can repeat this particular type of gift over and over approximately eleventy billion times. eBay is ripe with some of the cutest (and cheapest) charms you can find. In all seriousness, I can get my charms cheaper there than I can from my jewelry supply houses usually. So eBay for the charms, and you can make earrings for your girlfriends for literally every. single. occasion. under the known sky. You name it. If there is a charm for it, you can make it.
And if you are feeling adventurous, you don’t have to stop with charms. You can replace the dangling charms with a beautiful pearl or a quick-set gemstone. Jewelry supply companies have made it easier and vastly less challenging for non-jewelers to play with all types of gemstones. Take advantage of their work and use pre-set gemstones to make some of the most beautiful earrings you have made to date.
