Decorated christmas ball ornaments
We received a request for more Christmas decoration ideas, and we have indeed dug out some wonderful ideas for fun and simple decoration ideas.
We love this idea for so many different reasons, not the least of which is that you can sit yourself in front of your favorite movie (maybe even a holiday movie to get in the mood?) with a box of permanent markers, glitter glue and other such tools, and decorate your heart away.
Last year, the kennel owner of the Event Horizon Farm Kennel decided to decorate a seven foot tree entirely in a dog motif, and spent a few nights work with a multi-pack of assorted Sharpie brand permanent markers, about a dozen boxes of multi colored glass christmas ornaments and drew paw prints, bones and dog related words over all the ball ornaments. The result was an incredibly vivid dog-centric extremely inexpensive themed Christmas tree.
We love that it is easy to find glitter pens now, which allow you to put such a sparkle to the work you create, without a lot of extra fuss and muss, spilled glue pots and brushes and little paint pots of glitter. Now it is a simple matter of writing, as you would with any pen. Take advantage of that ease and really make those snowflakes glitter.
