Simple lace trimmed christmas stocking
Oh, I am so in love with this precious Christmas stocking, I just cannot stand it! I love the detail work on this, and of course, if fills the daily lace requirement that was established long before I even understand how fantastic lace was. I take the position that lace improves everything.
When you look at the full stocking, there is even a great matching ribbon that has been strung through the open work in the lace detail and a small little ribbonwork rose was added.
The beauty of this stocking is the extreme simplicity. This is nothing more than three steps. Cutting the stocking out, sewing the two sides together and sewing the lace around the top. Very simple, very clean and very elegant. What remains is a strong representation of Christmas colors and tradition that was made with the love of your own two hands.
