Movie time.

After university, I moved across country and started the best tradition ever: scary movie night. Even my labrador (Mollie) would get into the habit, meeting me on Friday nights sprawled at the end of my then nine foot blue velvet (yes. blue. aqua in fact) sofa, panting and grinning at me, hoping I brought something good home for our dinner.

Movie nights are Fridays (originally started when TNT scheduled Friday night as Fright Night Movies and sometimes even good ole creature features). We would cuddle on the sofa, open takeout, let Mollie snuggle close for comfort. Usually a double-feature, we would watch scary movies until it got just too creepy and had to go to bed.

In celebration, and as a reminder to slow down and enjoy life, I am going to start posting movie time (garnered mostly from Google video so that I do not have to worry about downloads and such…but I might post from my secret master stash if the occasion calls for it). The benefit to posting these movies like this is that it allows you to sneak in a quick movie or two and they should be easy to find!

I will tell you now my bias - I love scary movies, but am not a fan of gore. I accept that there is not a raging dichotomy between scary and gore anymore, but nonetheless, I still enjoy a good creep-fest sans the scarlet color schemes. Try finding those though. That is a challenge.

So - in the midst of the creativity, let’s watch a good flick!
