Christmas cookies abound.
Merry Christmas. What a fantastic tradition, the sharing of Christmas cookies.
I remember waiting excitedly for the tray from my Tiny Grandma, full of her cookies, always wondering what recipes she would make this year.
There was always those couple of pieces of marzipan fruit too that now, as an adult, I can look back and marvel at her skill! I wish I could make those as well as she did.
And she had one recipe that tasted like cream cheese with a cherry in the middle. I have no idea what that recipe was, but I would dearly love to find it again and send some to my dear ole Dad (and for a taste from the past for me).
