Summer storms.

I could not be happier if I tried. Enough with the sunshine and roses and such. I admit to be a rainophile.

The more rain, the better.

Dark gray dismal skies, rumbling thunder, is it night or it is storming wet plopping raindrops real honest to god splashing actually dangerous to be outside rain. God, I live for it. It is almost a obsession. In fact, I think it goes beyond borders - I mean I. LOVE. RAIN. I honestly have a concern that my need for rain is unnatural. I thrive in this weather. I get more done during rainstorms than I do in six months of hot muggy weather. I think it might be time to rethink my creativity levels based on weather patterns alone.

Because tonight is a scary-movie on the telly, kids cuddled under blankies on the sofa, screen door open to let in the storm kinda night, I am actually going to start adding new features to kattitudes. I have pictures and projects to share with you. I have more recipes than one person can cook (but not really - it is a lot but you can do it). I was thinking about addressing some life skill issues, maybe including some videos of creativity lessons, including general how-to for different projects touching along an entire spectrum of skills. Maybe we should think of this as the renaissance of Kattitudes. Let’s see where we can take this. I have veritable libraries of information on customs and traditions, lessons on how to make just about anything you could put your hands to. Because of the proliferation of technology today, I have available of veritable treasure trove of computer crafts and handcrafted gifts for you to either create yourself (or claim as your own, depending on your level of interest).

Because of this reinvention, you are going to see a lot of different ideas come and go. I would absolutely love to hear from every one of you; ideas, inspirations or requests. After years of gathering nuts, it is time to plant some of these and let them grow.
