Rose pillow
I have posted this type of pillow before, made with silk blooms from the fake flower area of your local craft and/or fabric store.
However, I love this particular pillow because the blossom concept has been taken a stretch further and made from fabric as opposed to the fake flowers.
As you can see by the closeup, the fabric blossoms are made by wrapping a gathered strip of fabric into a tight coil, duplicating the tight spiral of a rose blossom. Although this process can look intimidating, it is not hard, just time consuming.
Be sure to stitch the wrapped ribbon roses (or wrapped fabric roses) before sewing the two halves of the pillow together. Otherwise you might end up losing the ribbon roses off the pillow if they are not anchored well.
