Simple pearl drop sterling earrings
This is a simple three piece earring, simple to duplicate and great for gifts. The pearl is attached, either with a headpin if the pearl is drilled through or a screw eye attached with jewelers glue if the pearl is half-drilled. The earring wires are slightly flattened for decorative purposes. Although you can make the earring itself with a headpin with a eye on top, the truth of the matter is that earring wire parts are so incredibly cheap these days that it is silly to have to recreate the wheel. Hop on either ebay or your favorite jewelry supply store and you will find a kazillion different variations of earring wires to use to attach the pearls.
Over time I have posted multiple variations of this simple pearl earring because 1) everyone can use a pair or earrings like this and 2) with a simple classic design like this, you cannot go wrong giving it as a gift. It is truly a classic perfect gift. Everyone can use it!
