Tartan christmas stocking
A tartan Christmas stocking. What, you say? It is only August first? All the more reason to get busy with our Christmas season decorations. Summer is nearly finished (and school is already back in session here in the heat of Georgia state). Christmas will be upon us in a heartbeat.
When I saw this stocking, I thought “oh goodness, how simple to make!” Honestly, I do not have a pattern, but if you need, you could print the picture above, take it to your local library and use their copier to expand by 200% to get an approximate stocking size (experimentation would be the key here).
I have enough old fabric tucked about around here, and enough new nephews and soon-to-be niece to merit getting my stocking skills upgraded and underway. Surprise your family with new stockings this year.
