Snowflake button sweater
OK, let us get something straight right now. It is JULY. America’s Independence Day is finished (and I still have patriotic crafts to share) and that means only one thing … we are at the halfway point in the year and if you do not have your holiday crafts underway, you are going to be hating your schedule come December the first.
Get your tushes in gear (and believe you me - this is a lecture that is going straight in one of my own ears and out the other…I have so much to get done this year!)
So - Christmas. It is so on the way and one of the things I always lament at Christmas is that I do not have enough of the silly decorated clothes that everyone else seems to collect and breed in the back of their closet. I want some. But I have yet to see anything that I really like and when I do - there is no way on freaking earth I am paying the price that some of these crack-smoking sellers want for their goods!
Take this sweater. I do not even remember the price, but I remember very clearly looking at that and thinking “oh my goodness - give me a rainy afternoon and a great movie and I could get more than just a couple of buttons sewn on.
As with everything else - think about what you could decorate with a button snowflake. Christmas stockings. Guest towels. Matching family tshirts for all those holiday pictures. Get busy! You have work to do!
