Decoupage storage boxes
These boxes are being sold for a fortune at upscale home decor stores. I, however, will not pay a fortune for something I can cobble together and have it match my decor (or my gift recipient).
This is a good time to invest in those clipart collections that you love. Print out pictures that match your occasion, and make them into decals. If you wanted, you could just print it out on a color printer, but you have to be willing to put some work into the painting and finishing steps to make it look decent.
