Yes, you can do embroidery
We are aiming for nice quality gifts, right? Buy yourself a handy dandy linen towel, tablecloth, handkerchief, or whatever floats your boat. Then pick your favorite font and/or clip art from your computer and print it out.
Using a washable fabric marker, draw the letter and/or clip art outline on your linen item and grab a needle and thread. A simple running stitch, and you can create something like this, and still have it look utterly fantastic.
You don’t have to be a virtuoso with a needle to embroider, but you do have to be willing to give it shot.
