Tree embroidered sweater
Speaking of easy, this is as basic as it gets. You need a sweater. You need a piece of fabric that you like. You need a needle and thread.
Cut the piece of fabric into a Christmas tree shape.
Sew the Christmas tree shape onto the sweater (and I would use a blanket stitch for interest)
That is pretty much the whole ball of wax.
With a little ingenuity, this concept can be reproduced endlessly. A snowman. A candy cane. A present (with a ribbon tied on for accent). A stocking. Really - any shape outline under the sun that appeals.
And speaking of appeal, how cute would this tree look with buttons sewn on to replicate ornaments? Maybe a little ribbon for a garland?
