Briolette pendant necklace

briolette pendant necklace

Next on the list of easy handmade Christmas jewelry is a simple pendant made with a briolette (shaped) gemstone. Easily done. First - find your gemstone (I love the briolette shape and it is still really hot this year).

Next, you’ll need a piece of gauge wire that will fit through the hole on your bead/briolette/gemstone etc. You can often eyeball them in the craft store and figure out your need according to the size of the drilled hole.

You’ll need 2 sections of chain (you pick your favorite) and a fastener or toggle of some type.

The idea here is to string the pendant on the wire, create loops on both ends of the wire and loop those into the last link of the chain.

Do this on both sides of the pendant and connect the toggle/fastener to the other end. It is really much easier than I’m making it sound.

Tell ya what. If you try it and it goes horribly wrong - email me and I’ll help out. If you need supplier suggestions, let me know and I’ll post a few.
