Single dangle pearl earrings

Now we’re getting to the good stuff. This is a very basic earring, put together using what appears to be only 3 pieces.
In order to make these earrings, I would say you need some head pins, an earring wire and a single pearl or bead. If you are lucky, you can find head pins that have a flattened top (or you can do it yourself if you trust yourself with a jewelry mallet and an awl to punch a hole).
String the pearl onto the head bead, and then using jewelry (or other fine nosed) pliers, wrap the top of the headpin to the bottom of the earring wire.
All three pieces can easily be purchased at your local jewelry shop. I went to Michaels outside Atlanta just last weekend and picked up a fantastic stock of jewelry findings, including sterling silver headpins and earrings wires.
My preference for gemstones is baroque pearls, but whatever floats your boat is best for you.
Sit in front of a Christmas movie and you can whip out enough of these for all your girlfriends. Look for Christmas beads to make a seasonal set. Feel free to email if it gives you grief.
