Christmas cookie plate
How fantastic would it be to show up with THIS cookie tray, instead of the normal old-fashioned fill-a-tin-with-cookies-and-be-done-with-it (of which I myself am absolutely guilty!)?
From what I can tell, we need those cool different sized star shaped cookie cutters to make the stacked Christmas tree. We need some ball cookies (rum balls? oh, what if you were to use homemade truffles?!).
We also need some shaped cookies (they have gingerbread men, candy canes, reindeer and trees in there that I can see). There appears to be one BIG cookie on the bottom (bake it in a cake pan or a pie pan to get it round). And lots of icing. It’s Christmas. Of course there is lots of icing.
I fell in love with this idea and what a fantastic presentation! A little work in construction and you have a great looking party platter.
