Santa and snowman moon ornaments
Ever since I looked at the mitten ornament below, I can’t stop thinking about these ornaments. Again, a little detail work and you’re in business. You need some felt and lots of stuffing.
Hey, if you want to add a treat to these handmade ornaments, add a little lavender to the stuffing. Nummy - cute as a button (no pun intended but I guess it worked out that way!) AND good smelling. There are so many smells associated with Christmas. Push a piece of cinnamon stick in there with the stuffing instead of lavender and voila, great Christmas cookie smell.
Collect buttons now. There are so many things to be done on a gifting level with buttons and as long as you can sew on a button, you can embellish a bazillion different funky looking handmade items and dress them up just a wee bit
The store that was selling these ornaments wanted some outrageous price for the 2 together. I just couldn’t do it! They are just too easy to make yourself for about $2.00 - depending on where you get your supplies.
