Christmas wreath with flair

Welcome to the season and I’ll be honest with you. For some reason, this year I am beyond excited. It’s going to be a lean year for us as we have big goals for our next fiscal year and we are saving.

On the other hand, we have been really stretching our creativity bones, thinking up new ways to make a copy of things that are just too darned expensive these days!

Craft store for one instant wreath (unless you like the real thing). We live in hot Georgia. Hot hot hot, all the time. I use grapevine because it is easier to deal with than the normal fake pine. Did I mention the hot part of Atlanta, capable of igniting the now- so- hot- that- it- is- dangerously- spontaneously- combustible- wreath hanging on the front entry?

Back to the point. Start looking for all those old old beat-up ornaments that everyone wants to get rid of. Grab them whilst you can. When you have enough to create a visually unusual palette, wire the ornaments to the wreath frame and if you like that kind, top it off with a bow.

It’s the day after Thanksgiving. Time to play!
